On 17th November 2008, Liberal-National government of Western Australian has lifted the ban on uranium mining imposed by the previous Labor government.

Uranium Australia, which has 12 uranium projects in Western Australia will directly benefit from this change of policy.

 

ASX Listing

Uranium Australia is expecting to seek an admission to ASX in the first quarter of 2009 (subject to market conditions) following an initial public offering (IPO) of its securities to be issued under a prospectus.

Until our Company is admitted to ASX it will continue to explore and develop its uranium assets as an unlisted public company.

Brief Overview of the Company

Uranium Australia Limited, is an Australian resources exploration company dedicated to the exploration and development of uranium projects.  Uranium Australia has acquired 90% of the rights to uranium mineralisation within Korab Resources Ltd projects

The projects are at various stages of exploration and development ranging from early stage (radiometric anomalies) to late stage (pre-JORC resource estimates).
